Did you know that fabrics have frequencies?

While I was scrolling through Tiktok, I stumbled upon a video that was talking about the different frequencies that fabrics hold. I was intrigued, immediately. Being a person who is very discrete and aware of energy and frequencies, I guess that comes with the territory. It also encompasses spirituality and healing, these factors immediately triggered my curiosity to researching and hence writing this blogpost.

Having discussed in previous posts why what we wear matters. This article goes in depth on the reasons as to why fabrics will hold higher or lower frequencies.

According to a study carried out in 2003 by Heidi Yellen, Linen and Wool have the highest vibrating frequencies in comparison to other fabrics. A human being has a frequency of 100 Hz, using a machine that measures Tachyon Energyhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachyon. With a score of 5000Hz, linen and wool stood out of the organic fabrics. Tachyon energy is linked to healing energy, a frequency that is reportedly faster than light and is highly absorbent and invisible. Even though this sort of energy has not been proven, the ancient humans time and time again prove to us that their civilisation was not limited to figurines that were found of their remains in form of wall painting and a few loose clues of stolen bounty from ancient heritages. Ancient Egyptians were known to have worn Linen and used lined in many medical procedures. And in comparison, Wool is equal in vibration and it has been worn by northern hemisphere tribes to date.

However in comparison, Organic cotton is 100Hz and needs 5 times more water and fertilisers to grow on a large scale. More over, linen is found to be more absorbent and long lasting. Linen is also championed as a healing fabric, and is recommended in holistic health.Below is a table a table comparison in frequencies amongst all fabrics according to Dr. Heidi Yellen

The above information is really shocking and I believe is something that should be taught in fashion. What was interesting with this find, was that wool and linen as high vibrating fabrics should not be worn together. This is because they cancel each other out and create zero vibration. This was mind blowing information and sad that the science and study is really new and can not be scaled or explained. therefore this study has not been developed any further to prove the high resonance and low in various fabrics.https://dokumen.tips/documents/scientific-details-of-the-linen-frequency-study.html

In conclusion, I believe that everything carries an energy, a vibration. Depending on when and how it was made, or what it is used for, the experience, the history, etc. Everything holds a frequency. Now obviously, I am not telling to to throw your clothes out because they are low vibrational, I am only raising a point, that: WE ARE WHAT WE WEAR. The larger population of fashion lovers consume fast fashion, that means that they will buy as fast as they will shelve or dispose. That means that most of the clothes we wear hold a low frequency.

On top of the cheap synthetic fabrics that are used to make them, but also the amount of waste in form of resources and regression of society caused by long hours of work to fulfil orders at all supply levels. That means that the clothes we wear are low vibrational, and are making the environment low vibration, because many of these are non biodegradable and linger on earth for decades polluting and distracting ecosystems. We as consumers need to demand better, or maybe it starts with knowing that we are better than what is being forced in our faces. Which is being aware of the low vibrational campaigns and trends that fast fashion shoves down our throats in-order to make profits from us, while we lower our energy by supporting consumerism that is regressive to our existence.

Knowing is the beginning of changing, once we know such crucial information that fast fashion brands will never disclose, we take back control of our human experience, by being in sync with nature through what we put ON and in our bodies.
